Bio for J.Max Wroten

As Vice President of Operations for Casino Food & Beverage Solutions
LLC, Wroten brings a strong financial background combined with
operational experience in casino and restaurant food and beverage. He
focuses on operational analysis, profit and loss management, front of
house training and strategic and organizational planning.
Prior to joining Casino FABS, Wroten consulted for over seven years
focusing on Tribal Gaming and emerging secondary markets. He opened over
twenty-five restaurants at Tribal Casinos and has been involved with
nine casinos, opening new facilities from the ground up. He is a
frequent speaker for Kitto Buss, Tribal Productions at gaming shows,
conferences and seminars held throughout the US.
Prior to consulting, Wroten worked as Director of Operations for several
fast growing restaurants, all in start-up mode, growing at a rate in
excess of 100% a year each during his tenure. Beginning in 1992, as the
corporate Director of Food and Beverage Operations for Grand Casinos,
Max opened five casinos with 23 restaurants in one three-year period. Of
the five casinos opened, two were corporately owned and three were
Tribal. The Food & Beverage volume for the six casinos under his
authority was $40.0 million.
Wroten spent the first nine years of his career in retail, working for
Dayton Hudson Department stores. He started in Financial Planning and
Analysis and moved into Operations Management. His final position was
the Operations Manager, second in command of a management team that
opened a 380,000 square foot department store that was state of the art.
He was responsible for a staff of 120, including three food and beverage
operations.
Wroten has a Bachelor of Science with majors in Accounting and
Information Systems as well as an MBA with a specialization in Finance,
all from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.
